James Wood Denton started out at the small store up the road from where the AutoPark is now. Flanked by Chamber of Commerce officials from Denton, the Lake Cities and Lewisville, Scott Boyd, Raymond, James and Shirley Wood cut the grand-opening ribbon on February 14, 1991.
