Paul started with James Wood Motors in Decatur originally in May 1999. He was a well-respected and loved service advisor until he left our team on February 1, 2020. We are happy to announce that he is BACK!
We asked him a couple of questions about him being back on our James Wood Motors team and this is what he had to say:
Q: What was your original position in May 1999?
A: I was hired on originally as quality control in the repair shop.
Q: Do you mind sharing about you leaving our team back in February?
A: I took a position with a solar company in Ft. Worth.
Q: When did you return?
A: May 2020
Q: Do you mind sharing why you came back?
A: Due to Covid-19, the term “non-essential” became a reality for my solar position.
Q: What is your current role at James Wood Motors?
A: I am now in a position to assist ALL of our customer as I’ve taken the role of dispatcher in the repair shop.
Q: What do you like the most about the overall experience at James Wood Motors?
A: That’s easy – the people! And all of our wonderful customers. James Wood Motors is home and I’m happy to be back!
Q: Anything else you would like to add?
A: If I had known that trying to leave James Wood Motors would cause a world pandemic – I would have never left! (LOL)

I didn’t know Paul left. Shawn is my guy for service, but meeting Paul, he also is great with customers
